Working at a comp as a counselor is fun, there is fun all the time, it is some time hard to believe that you are being paid to have so much fun. It is known that the salary you get at the camp is a bit lower that what you "expect" to get working at a normal job on a regular work and travel program, but the pay is certain. It may not seem so on the face of it, but it will benefit you more to work at a camp than with a regular program from JOYST, SWAT, APEX just to name a few.

Salary is guaranteed, many students leave the country wanting to earn a specific amount of money because they can work overtime and earn tips and when they get to their location none of this is available, well with I.M. Travel Exchange employers will tell you how much you will earn before you leave Jamaica.

Opportunity to earn more, after your contract has ended at work you can stay in the USA for up to 30days traveling or you can, if the camp allows, stay on the camp and work until u are ready to depart which will let you earn more of course.

Don't worry about EXPENSES, there is no other association that can provide food and accommodation for FREE you will live on the camp hence transportation cost is eliminated, a summer camp offers three meals daily that you don't have to pay for unlike the others you will have to find your rent and food plus transportation money which will only cost you more, greater savings are what you will gain at a camp.
There is no rigid system in place for you to feel nervous, your versatility, skills and flexibility are what brought you there so thats what employers will work with.

Camp entails fun and exciting staff parties that will take place and the weekly socials that occur for you to interact with the kids and other staff members.

FREE CPR and lifeguard training for counselors who will work in specific areas !
Lets not forget your health insurance if your are injured your hospital visit is FREE, for the simple problems you have the camp nurse is available while this is no guarantee for other associations your health is the most important matter here.

Some participants can request that their airfare be paid by their employers to be reimbursed at a later date.
For second time returners to camp your salary will be increased significantly !
